Before you begin:

  • Ensure you have an active Surfshark subscription. If not, visit the Surfshark website to purchase one.
  • Make sure your Fire Stick is connected to the internet and running the latest software version.

Installation:

  1. Navigate to the Search bar: On your Fire Stick’s home screen, use the remote to navigate to the magnifying glass icon (Search).
  2. Search for Surfshark: Type “Surfshark” using the on-screen keyboard. As you type, suggestions will appear. Highlight “Surfshark” and press the “Select” button on your remote.
  3. Download and install the app: Select the “Surfshark” app from the search results. Click the “Get” or “Download” button. The app will automatically download and install onto your Fire Stick.
  4. Launch Surfshark: Once the installation is complete, click the “Open” button to launch the Surfshark app.

Logging in and connecting:

  1. Sign in or create an account: If you already have a Surfshark account, enter your login credentials. If you’re new, select “Create Account” and follow the on-screen instructions to register.
  2. Connect to a server: Surfshark will recommend the fastest server for your location. You can also:
    • Click the “Quick Connect” button for automatic connection.
    • Choose a specific server location from the list by browsing and selecting from the “Locations” tab.
    • Select a specific server purpose (e.g., “P2P,” “Netflix US”) from the “Features” tab.
  3. Enjoy secure browsing: Once connected, you can freely browse content and apps while your internet activity is encrypted and your location is masked.

Additional tips:

  • Consider setting up Surfshark to launch automatically on startup for added convenience. This can be done by navigating to “Settings” -> “Applications” -> “Manage Installed Applications” -> “Surfshark” -> “Launch on Startup” and enabling the option.
  • Remember to disconnect from Surfshark when you’re finished using it to conserve battery life and optimize performance.

By following these steps, you’ll have Surfshark VPN up and running on your Fire Stick in no time, allowing you to enjoy enhanced privacy and security while streaming and browsing content on your device.
